505OMATIC is a collective of journalists, artists, filmmakers, writers, and community organizers that came together in December 2024 to tackle the vacuum of local news and information in our everyday lives. a gap that's left our community more disconnected than ever.

By creating social media videos and hosting fun, in-person events, 505OMATIC empowers us to be more informed, engaged, and in control of our collective future.

We're building a sustainable, worker-led model for local news. Your support helps us pay our member-reporters, invest in gear, and keep our free in-person events thriving.
